Evaluations
Also called an assessment. Covers all relevant areas of speech, feeding, language, and muscle function. Children's evals are 75 minutes long, and adult evals for tongue ties, myo, or speech are 60 minutes.
Sessions
We offer sessions at Philadelphia Pediatric Dentistry. Sessions are 30-45 minutes long. We also offer telehealth sessions to supplement in-person therapy. Each session includes one-on-one work. Homework and daily exercises are updated at the end of each session. Sessions are typically weekly.
Packages
We have several package offerings for supporting patients with thumbsucking / oral habits, myobrace treatment, and an upcoming tongue tie release. Please contact us for more information.
Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)
Practical Speech provides Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) for families seeking an objective assessment of a child’s communication needs. IEEs can help determine whether a student’s speech or related difficulties adversely affect educational performance and whether they may qualify for services under IDEA (Part B).
IEEs are available for concerns related to:
